La Barca, which means ‘The Boat’ in Spanish, features a handcrafted boat-shaped bar, beautiful harbour scene mural and striking Spanish chandeliers.
Our customers soak up the atmosphere as Spanish waiters whisk piping-hot cazuela dishes to their table on a giant tray to enjoy with a fruity Sangria, smooth Rioja or refreshing San Miguel.
Diners can choose from Pan Aceitunas y Charcuterie. Tapas Vegetales, tapas de Carne and Tapas de Mar sections as well as paellas for two and homemade desserts.
New additions to our menu include seared monkfish cheeks wrapped in pancetta, Scottish king scallops and Stornoway black pudding and Scottish smoked salmon croquettes.
Although we are a Spanish restaurant we have a fantastic Scottish larder to choose from and these form our Spanish tapas with Scottish ingredients. Customers love to see Scottish scallops, Scottish premium steak and Scotland's favourite Stornoway black pudding on the menu.
La Barca is a taste of the Mediterranean with a friendly atmosphere to match.
